Terms and Conditions
1. Services
We provide student-run home services, including but not limited to snow removal, babysitting, lawn care, window cleaning, and other seasonal services.
Service availability depends on student schedules, demand, and weather conditions (particularly for outdoor services).
2. Booking & Payment

All bookings must be made through our website.

Payment is required at the time of booking.

Prices are clearly displayed for each service and may be hourly, flat-rate, or offered as a seasonal pass.
3. Refunds & Cancellations

A full refund is available if a service is not completed on the same business day.

Completed services are non-refundable.

Cancellations must be made at least 12 hours in advance for scheduled services, unless otherwise agreed upon.
4. Customer Responsibilities

For services requiring access to the property, customers must ensure safe entry or provide clear access instructions.

MTL Student Home Services is not responsible for damages resulting from unsafe property conditions, obstacles, or pre-existing issues.
5. Liability

Our student team members are trained; however, all services are performed at the customer’s own risk.

MTL Student Home Services is not liable for accidents, injuries, or property damage beyond reasonable care during service delivery.
6. Seasonal Passes

Seasonal passes cover services as described (e.g., driveways, walkways).

Dispatch occurs once accumulated snowfall reaches 1 inch.

Passes are valid for the winter season only, are non-transferable, and non-refundable.
7. Communication

Photo confirmations or service updates may be sent via email or SMS (if requested).

Customers are responsible for providing accurate and up-to-date contact information.
8. Right to Refuse Service
MTL Student Home Services reserves the right to refuse or cancel service if a customer behaves in a rude, abusive, or threatening manner toward our team members.

No refund may be issued if a service is canceled due to inappropriate behavior.

Student teams reserve the right to leave the property immediately to ensure their safety and well-being.
9. Snow & Winter Service Policy
To protect the safety and well-being of our student dispatchers, the following rules apply to snow and winter services:

Orders placed between 11:00 PM and 6:00 AM will automatically be scheduled for the next service day.

If snowfall begins after 7:00 PM and continues overnight, dispatch will occur the following morning.

Priority is given to earlier orders to help customers prepare for work or school.

If snowfall is forecasted to end within 12 hours and occurs between 6:00 AM and 11:00 PM, service will be dispatched after snowfall has stopped, with priority given to earlier orders.

If you require urgent service, please leave a message in the custom request box at checkout. While not guaranteed, we will make our best effort to accommodate your request based on availability and safety conditions.
